Tie the Knot is the Perfect Wedding Planner.

We are two Kiwi Indian chicks that have organised both our Indian and Civil ceremonies, as well as planning our friends weddings too. We like to be organised and know how much it takes to have the perfect wedding. We started this site up to make it easier for other Brides & Grooms to find everything at one site, keep track of it, and save a lot of time. Although we have a passion for Indian weddings, we feel if you’re organising a Polynesian, Asian, European or any other ethnic wedding you will find something here.

We have tons of advice to keep you busy, you may find that some will help and others, well, it’s up to you if you use it.

We have created this website so it is user friendly. Our most famous tool is the Pick List. This allows users to keep track of their desired suppliers and contact them directly. The other cool thing is that our users can request specials on certain categories – this is not only great for them but also for our advertisers.

Our Directory is full of great ideas and contacts to create your big day, right through to your honeymoon. We have pages dedicated to Indian weddings, the meanings of the rituals, mehendi and decorations. Other helpful services are our checklists; you can’t organise a wedding without one. We have a general wedding checklist, as well as one catered for Indian weddings. Our Flower Calendar shows the seasonality and meanings, this is a great way of choosing flowers for your bouquet.
